The Centre of Nigeria, Here in Abuja City

Finding the centre of Nigeria. In 1991 Abuja was made the capital of Nigeria. It's location was chosen to be right in the centre of the country. The plaque we visited on Katampe Hill next to the Aso radio station is said to be at the centre of Abuja making it the centre of Nigeria.

Personally I love the views and the peace and quite you get from being up there otherwise there isn't much at the location alerting you of its significance. A simple stone sculpture of the map of Nigeria would be sufficient enough. And thanks to @sagetravels I found the spot.
